Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs: Impacting Over 17,000 Future ManufacturersThis award winning video documents the impact that Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs (the foundation of FMA) had on thousands of kids and young adults during the 2023 camp & scholarship season.Winner: Honorable Mention, AVA Awards 2024Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs is building the next generation in manufacturing through summer manufacturing camps, scholarships and inclusion camps. NBT is the charitable foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association. At FMA, we cultivate a workforce development lifecycle that galvanizes the metal fabrication community, nurturing our workforce to ensure a prosperous future for our industry.Since 2005, NBT has awarded over $2.1 million in grants supporting 1,057 summer manufacturing camps and impacting more than 16,500 students. Since 1990, over $1.3 million in scholarships have been awarded to more than 700 students pursuing degrees that will lead to manufacturing careers.
